Refutation of claiming that one cannot decide whether to uphold what is worthwhile or what is unworthwhile:

  • Upholding what is unworthwhile has been already ruled out (see refutation of upholding the unworthwhile), therefore one is logically left with upholding the worthwhile without any indecision (in some suitable sense of the worthwhile which we will explore in considering Premise 2.)
